Deepika in NTR biopic?

Deepika Padukone, is the current leading actress of Indian Cinema. Her film Padmaavat, earned 300 crores Nett at the box office and it became a super hit also giving her accolades from fans about her performance as Rani Padmini in the film. She is now taking some bed rest for her back pain and staying away from shoots. Her film with Irrfan Khan in the direction of Vishal Bharadwaj got postponed after the actor, Irrfan Khan, got admitted in hospital for health issues.

Now, the actress is being approached by NTR biopic makers for a cameo role as Sridevi in the film. As Vetagadu, Bobbili Puli, Sardar Paparayudu are big hits in NTR’s later career, showing the songs and the relationship between them while shooting, will be a fanservice moment. Hence, the makers have approached her it seems. If she has accepted the role or did she give her consent to hear the script is not known yet.

For NTR biopic, Vidya Balan has been approached to play NTR’s first wife, Basavatharakamma role and the actress is still to decide on dates. Paresh Rawal has been approached for Nadendla Bhaskar Rao role. The film team wants to release the movie in Hindi as well and hence, they are also approaching Hindi actors who are deemed to be suitable for certain roles in the film. The movie shooting started last week in Hyderabad and all other details will be revealed soon.
