Performances: Niharika Konidela is as good as she always is in her portrayal as an independent woman. Her portrayal of a gamer has been modernized, and she carries the show effortlessly and with ease. Her portrayal in the dramatic scenes gives the action more nuance.
Bhavana Sagi, an actress, is adorable on screen and performed the assigned job admirably. Pilot Anand and Bhargav, played by Viva Harsha, do well in their comedic parts and provide complexity to the story. Their comic timing and lighthearted dialogue provide the story with some much-needed reprieve.
Last but not least, actor Sai Ronak has a strong screen presence, and Niharika Konidela and Sai Ronak’s chemistry is expertly conveyed.
Technicalities: Siddhartha Sadashiv’s music gives the play an added advantage because it has a contemporary feel. All the main scenes are elevated by his background score in an enthralling way. Fahad Abdul Majeed’s photography is of the highest caliber; he expertly captured the full performance in a rich texture. His framing and camera stances give the entire arrangement a new feel.
The rich production values and production design work are a hallmark of the Tamada Media organization. The set properties were handled reasonably well by the artwork department.
Analysis: The six episodes of the program are directed by Aditya Mandala. He handled the narrative in an interesting way. The plot, which has gaming as its background, is skillfully handled by adding all the ingredients in the correct proportion.
One flaw is that Viva Harsha and Bhargav could have been employed more effectively to increase the comic relief in the story. Dead Pixels is a nice movie to watch this weekend aside from that.
