During the trailer launch event of Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, veteran director David Dhawan became emotional while speaking about his son Varun Dhawan.
He praised Varun not only for his decent success as an actor but also for being a caring and supportive son. David said Varun has always stood by him during every phase of life especially during health issues and hospital visits without fail.
Recalling those much difficult times, David shared that Varun would stay overnight with him in the hospital and constantly take care of him.
He said each and every parent would wish to have a son like Varun. David also praised his elder son Rohit Dhawan and said both his sons have always supported and cared for him.
All are now appreciating the emotional bond between David and Varun. Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai was directed by David Dhawan and is set to release on June 5th 2026.
