Darshan Joins Varanasi: A Major Boost To His Acting Journey

Sudheer Babu is trying hard to get a commercial hit again but he has been facing continuous failures. Meanwhile his son Darshan is slowly making his own path.

Darshan has already acted as a child artist in a few movies. Now, he is in talks to play the younger version of Mahesh Babu in SS Rajamouli’s film Varanasi.

According to reports the shoot for the childhood scenes will begin soon and Darshan has almost been confirmed for the role.

Many fans expected Gautham to play young Mahesh again, but his age no longer suits the character and he is also not available. Darshan’s look and hairstyle match Mahesh’s look in Varanasi which helps. People are also excited to see the “Mama–Alludu” combo on screen.

Darshan also to play young Prabhas in Fauji. If both these big films succeed, they will be a great boost to his career. Varanasi produced by Durga Arts, is scheduled for release in 2027.
