D51 project has created a massive buzz even before its production began, thanks to its star-studded cast featuring Dhanush, Nagarjuna, and Sekhar Kammula. The movie has garnered attention not only for its cast but also for its overseas rights deal.
UK-based DreamZ Entertainment secured the total overseas rights of the film even before the shooting commenced, indicating the high demand for the project. The combination of Dhanush’s popularity, Sekhar Kammula’s credibility as a director known for appealing to NRIs, and the presence of Nagarjuna and Rashmika Mandanna, dubbed as the ‘national crush’, contributed to the rapid sale of the film’s rights.
Dreamz Entertainment, previously known for distributing movies in the UK, has now ventured into the overseas market with this acquisition. The filming of #D51 began in Tirupathi, with Dhanush shooting at real locations near Alipiri and its surroundings.
