Cyclone Tauktae affects this Ajay Devgn’s movie badly

The shooting for Bollywood star Ajay Devgn’s upcoming sports drama, Maidaan was stalled temporarily due to the widespread of Corona second wave across Mumbai and Maharashtra. Being directed by Amit Sharma, the film is based on the legendary Indian football coach Syed Abdul Rahim and Ajay Devgn will be seen reprising Syed’s role.

For the shooting purpose, the makers have erected a football ground set at a studio in Mumbai. Now, the latest news coming in from Bollywood circles is that the set was completed damaged due to the cyclone Tauktae caused heavy rainfall in the city from the past few days. The football ground set was reportedly built with a whopping budget of approximately Rs 5 crore and is now left unusable.

Being bankrolled by reputed filmmaker Boney Kapoor, Maidaan has Priyamani as the female lead. The film is slated to hit the screens in October.
