Vishwak Sen is gearing up for the release of his upcoming action film Cult, which he has directed and stars in.
The actor revealed that he spent nearly two and a half years developing the story but struggled to find the right idea for the second half.
An incident related to Vietnam, which he heard from a friend, later inspired him to complete the story. Vishwak also hinted that the film has a unique concept.
After Laila failed at the box office, he decided to take responsibility for his comeback by directing the film himself. Tazuddin was initially announced as director, but Vishwak later took over.
The film stars Gayatri Bharadwaj, Tarak Ponnappa, Murali Sharma and Srikanth Iyengar. Cult will release in theatres on October 30th 2026.
