Vishwak Sen directed Cult in a bid to make a strong comeback after a series of flops. Produced on a budget of around Rs 25 crore, the film faced censor issues and received an A certificate with several cuts.
However, Cult opened to negative reviews and failed to show expected growth on its second day.
