Entertainment Industry around the world has taken a huge hit due to the pandemic and this year, Telugu youth are missing films at theatres and IPL. The second most loved past-time for Telugu youth is to argue about the IPL tournament. International Cricket Committee has decided to postpone Cricket World T20 Cup this year and they will come up with a schedule soon. In UK, England team started playing West Indies in crowd less Test matches.
Slowly, cricket seems to be coming back in those countries where pandemic is at controllable state. Indian youth are addicted to cricket as it is a religion. Now, they want IPL to be held in place of CWC T20. India seems to have become a hot bed for Covid and until it reaches a controllable state, the expectations to bring back cricket in India seems to be far-fetched. We hope films and cricket do take over our lives again as our past-time hobbies with the pandemic put to rest.
