The creators of Varun Tej’s movie Matka are putting in a lot of effort to create a grand film that spans 24 years and provides an authentic retro experience.
The shooting is currently happening in Hyderabad, focusing on key scenes with the main cast.
The team built huge sets to recreate Vizag city, and this single schedule costs about 15 crores. This important part of the shoot will last for 35 days.
The film aims to transport viewers to the era in which the story is set, as shown in a making-of video that highlights the extensive pre-production work.
The video also gives a sneak peek of Varun Tej in different looks. The movie is produced by Vyra Entertainments and SRT Entertainments, directed by Karuna Kumar, and features Nora Fatehi and Meenakshi Chowdary as the female lead.
