After the success of Evaru, Adivi Sesh has been working on his upcoming film, Major. Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, the film is based on the life of late Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. He was hailed as one if the heroes who rescued many hostages during the 26/11 attack at Taj in Mumbai. Reportedly, Adivi Sesh had planned to reveal key updates regarding the film on Sandeep’s birthday, which was on March 15. However, due to the coronavirus outbreak, he was forced to push the announcement regarding the film to a later date.
He took to Twitter and wrote, “ Today is the birthday of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. An important day for our team & for the nation. His life and his sacrifice have taught me and inspired me. We originally planned huge announcements for @MajorTheFilm in honor of today but COVID-19 has disrupted our plans. We will update you soon. Love all. Be safe, be home and On his birth anniversary, let us take a moment to reminisce, let us never forget the sacrifice of our soldiers.
