Cops Get Tough About Their Depiction in Films

In a recent development, the Telangana state police officers’ association has decided crack down on filmmakers who derogate the cops! One wonders, how this will affect creativity as it will now become increasingly tough to have a police officer play the role of a baddie.

The association has said that criminal cases and defamation suits will be filed against filmmakers who say something negative for the police.

They have also strictly instructed the filmmakers to avoid using words like “Khakhilu” and “Policeodu”. Looks like a certain recently released film might be under fire because of these dictums.
