Controversial director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri appears to hold a grudge against Pan Indian star Prabhas, often making indirect jibes at him. The clash between their previous films, “The Kashmir Files” and “Radhe Shyam,” resulted in the former becoming a blockbuster while the latter struggled at the box office.
Now, as Agnihotri prepares to release his next film, “The Vaccine War,” on the same date as Prabhas and Prashanth Neel’s “Salaar” (September 28, 2023), tensions are rising once again. Agnihotri openly expressed his lack of fear about the clash, citing the success of “The Kashmir Files” when it faced off against “Radhe Shyam.”
The director took to Twitter to criticize Prabhas and “Salaar,” condemning the glamorization of extreme violence in cinema and the promotion of what he considers to be nonsensical movies and non talented actors.
As the clash between “The Vaccine War” and “Salaar” looms, the industry is curious to see the outcome of this competition. Agnihotri remains confident that his film will once again emerge victorious, but only time will tell which film will triumph at the box office.
