Nayanthara is one of the leading actresses in South India today and is about to make her Bollywood debut with Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawaan, directed by Atlee. The actress has been in a seven-year-long relationship with director Vignesh Shivan. The couple met on the sets of their film Naanum Rowdy Thaan, and have been together ever since.
Last year, the couple got engaged in the presence of their family members, and are now all set to take their relationship to the next level, by getting married on June 9th. Nayan and Vignesh have always been very private about their relationship, with no confirmation being given by the couple about their wedding. However, things got confirmed after the couple met with Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Friday night, and invited him to their wedding, with their wedding cards in hand.
The wedding is set to take place in Mahabalipuram’s Mahab hotel. On the work front, Nayan will be seen iN Chiranjeevi’s Godfather and Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Gold, apart from Jawaan. Nayan and Vignesh recently collaborated together on KRK, which turned out to be a good hit.
