Rajamouli has landed in controversy after making comments about Hanuman during the Varanasi launch event.
His words about not believing in Hanuman has created a big problem. Now the Rashtriya Vanara Sena has filed a complaint against him at the Saroornagar Police Station in Hyderebad.
According to reports the members of the Vanara Sena are unhappy with the comments he made on stage. They claim that director spoke disrespectfully about Hanuman and are demanding his arrest.
The organisation says his remarks have hurt the sentiments of Hindus and raised concern about the increasing disrespect shown towards Hindu gods in the film industry and why this is happening.
The Saroornagar Police have not taken any action yet and more updates on the issue are expected soon.
