Several producers are complaining that several producers of Telugu Cinema have formed a group called, Associated Producers of Telugu Limited Liability Partnership. The group is taking care of the advertising planning structure of the Telugu Cinema and they are limiting the amount spent on publicity with various packages, when they do the publicity of the movie, through their organisation.
Producers like Suresh Babu, Damodar Prasad, Dil Raju, Paruchuri Kireeti, Tagore Madhu, N.V. Prasad, Burgupalli Krishna and Nallamallapu Srinivas are part of this group. They are limiting the cost on the publicity of 2 crore to 40 lakhs and going through them is a blessing as per few producers. But others like Malkhapuram Shiva Kumar say it is just an organisation that looks to make money of a producer rather than helping them.
Producer Damodar Prasad said that he spent 2 crores on the publicity of his movie Ala Modhalayyindi as he lacked any knowledge in approaching the right persons, so he thought this is a best way to go forward to help the small producers like him. But Malkhapuram still says that if they want to help they could have easily did it through the Producers council and it is nothing but a profit seeking corporation. well, you have heard both the versions, tell us who is right.
