Cocktail 2 Team Ends Rumours About Kriti And Rashmika

The trailer of Cocktail 2 starring Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika has sparked discussions online.

Some viewers felt that the close bond between Kriti and Rashmika’s characters hinted at a lesbian love story. However the makers have clarified that this is not the case.

At the trailer launch event, Rashmika and Kriti spoke about their strong friendship while Shahid jokingly remarked that they looked like a couple.

Reacting to this matter Kriti said people often find it hard to believe that two women can simply be true close friends. Director Homi Adajania also joked about making such a story in the future if possible.

Producer Dinesh Vijan later put an end to the speculation confirming that Cocktail 2 does not feature any lesbian love story while the film is scheduled to release on June 19th.
