Vijay celebrated his 52nd birthday today making it his first birthday after becoming the CM of Tamil Nadu. Leaders from across the political spectrum sent their lovely wishes.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished him good health and a long life while Rahul Gandhi expressed support for efforts to protect Tamil rights and promote the state’s development.
Former Chief Minister M.K. Stalin also extended his lovely greetings.
This celebrations come just weeks after Vijay led his party TVK to victory in the April elections and assumed office as CM. The lovely wishes reflected his growing popularity and influence.
Vijay has now joined the list of South actors such as Ramachandran, N.T.Rama Rao and Jayalalithaa, who was successfully became CM.
