CM Revanth Reddy urged the Telugu film industry to take active steps in fulfilling their social responsibilities. He suggested that all filmmakers create a short video to raise awareness about drug-related issues and cybercrime.
The CM requested each film to include a segment of at least two to three minutes featuring their actors, emphasizing the dangers of drug abuse and cybercrime.
“While filmmakers can request ticket price increases from the government, they must also show social responsibility by producing and sharing videos that promote awareness,” said CM Revanth Reddy.
He also urged theater owners to screen these videos about drug issues and cybercrime before movies, free of charge.
The Chief Minister assured additional support from the government for those who contribute to these social causes. He made these remarks at an event focused on combating drug abuse, where he acknowledged Megastar Chiranjeevi for participating in raising awareness.
