A massive pan-India movie in the combination of Kollywood star director Shankar and Tollywood star Ram Charan was formally announced in the month of March. Top Telugu producer Dil Raju will be bankrolling the project.
Later, as an unexpected scenario, the makers of Indian 2 approached the Madras High Court and filed a complaint against director Shankar for not completing their project and announcing his next film. For the past two months, the issue in the court premises and both the parties are not in a mood to withdraw their respective petitions and the arguments are going on.
Meanwhile, the latest reports from Kollywood circles indicate that the Madras High Court has given three more weeks time to both the parties and asked to settle down the issue with a peaceful meeting or else the court will be an action on both the petitioners. So with the Madras High Court’s latest deadline, it is clear that clarity on Shankar-Ram Charan’s project is expected to be out by the end of July.
