For the past few weeks, news has been circulating among media circles is that Rajamouli’s prestigious project, RRR is going to skip its already announced October 13th release date. But to date, there is no official confirmation regarding the same.
While a few media channels are publishing that the film will be postponed to January 2022, a few others are reporting that RRR will have its theatrical release during summer 2022. Meanwhile, the latest news we hear from our sources is that the makers of RRR are soon going to have a meeting with the producer council members and come to a mutual understanding regarding the film releases.
If RRR aims for a Sankranthi 2022 release, then films such as Bheemla Nayak, Sarkaru Vaari Paata and Radhe Shyam which are already announced for the theatrical release during the same season will be left with no option but to postpone further. Instead, if RRR moves to the Summer release, then films such as Salaar has to be postponed. However, a clear picture of the uncertainty regarding the release of films such RRR, Radhe Shyam, Sarkaru Vaari Paata, Bheemla Nayak and Salaar will be out once after the producers meeting.
