Cine workers to go on a strike

Tollywood to shut down again. As per the reports, cine workers who are demanding a hike in the daily wages for the past few months have decided to go on strike from tomorrow.

After struggles during pandemic times, Telugu cinema is slowly recovering as film shootings are happening at a brisk pace for the past few months. At this crucial juncture, cine workers going on a strike is not a good sign for Tollywood.

Will the producers’ council and cine workers association members have a meeting to sort out the payment issues as early as possible? Remains to be seen.
