We don’t have to put two big films against each other all the time but we do have many huge budget films lining up one after another ever since Baahubali found a way to expand the horizons of regional cinema.
Megastar Chiranjeevi has Sye Raa, Prabhas has Saaho and SS Rajamouli the creator of Baahubali has RRR, the multi-starrer with Ram Charan and Jr. NTR coming up in Telugu. Even Prabhas20 is said to be budgeted more than 150 crores.
Tamil and Hindi movie Industries, are also trying their hand at these big films and they have Baahubali in their mind as a competition. Chiyaan Vikram’s Karna started shooting in RFC Hyderabad and it will continue the shoot for 20 days, it seems.
The movie will release at the same time as RRR next year, Pan-India, it seems. We have to wait and see if both the movies will be able to hold on to the public interest? Rajamouli showed that he has a way to hit the bullseye, can Vikram do?
