‘Jai Bhim’ director TJ Gnanavel, who made a strong debut with the Suriya-starring film, has now won over Rajinikanth with a narrative.
The forthcoming movie starring Rajinikanth will be helmed by TJ Gnanavel, and it has been given the working title “Thalaivar 170.” In this Rajini-starrer, the filmmaker is making a lot of effort to cast Chiyaan Vikram as the evil role. When he was first contacted for the part, Chiyaan Vikram reportedly declined the director’s offer.
According to reports, TJ Gnanavel wanted Chiyaan Vikram to play the antagonist and has been working hard to persuade the renowned actor to join the project. In order to bring Chiyaan Vikram on board, the producers of “Thalaivar 170” had been in talks with him. The official cast and crew of “Thalaivar 170” will be revealed after the movie starts production in the second half of 2023.
Chiyaan Vikram had a rib injury during filming his next movie “Thangalaan,” and production has since been put on hold as a result of the actor’s doctor’s recommendation that he rest. We’ll have to wait and see if Chiyaan will consent to square off against Rajinikanth.
“Thangalaan,” a movie directed by Pa Ranjith, is set between 1870 and 1940 and explores the development of the Kolar Gold Fields (KGF). Along with Chiyaan Vikram, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Malavika Mohanan, and Pasupathy have significant parts in the movie, which features music by GV Prakash Kumar.
