Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 151st film, Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy, has been long delayed and the actor has no problem in waiting even further as he wants to ensure that the movie will be the best of what it can be. He wants the biopic to match the visual grandeur of Baahubali as people will expect more from him.

He gave a first hand example for his box office pull with his 150th film, Khaidi No. 150. He came back full fledged on screen after 9 years and his fans were rejoiced by the kind of efforts he put in for the film. Even plenty of normal audience too were mesmerized by his attitude and grace in dance moves after so many years. Even though the success proved that Telugu audience are still interested to see their Megastar in his full glory, Chiranjeevi understood that any historical that cannot match the scale of Baahubali might have to bite the dust.

Also, with so many box office avenues opened by the movie, it would be highly risky to just focus on Telugu market to recover the budget. So, Chiru being the producer of the movie too, increased the production cost and directed the young team to search for suitable casting for a Pan India appeal. Surrender Reddy is on the look out for such actors and also a script revision is being done in the presence of Paruchuri Brothers to give those characters some more meat. The pre-production works are going at full swing and the film has been now postponed to a September launch date and release is planned for Summer next year.
