Chiranjeevi’s son-in-law’s film to skip its theatrical release?

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s son-in-law Kalyaan Dhev’s second film under the direction of Puli Vasu wrapped up its entire shooting formalities before the Corona second wave lockdown was imposed. Titled Super Machi, the film marks the Tollywood debut of Kannada heroine Rachita Ram.

Meanwhile, the latest news is that as there is no clue on when the prevailing Corona situation returns to normalcy, the makers are planning to skip the film’s theatrical release and opt for a direct OTT streaming. Reportedly, the film unit is already in discussion with the popular digital platform Amazon Prime regarding the same. An official confirmation on Super Machi’s OTT release is expected to be out shortly.

Touted as a fun and youthful entertainer, the film is being bankrolled by Rizwan. Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty will be seen in a key role in the movie.
