Before Sankranthi 2027, there were many rumors that Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna would compete at the box office. But according to industry sources, that is not likely to happen.
Chiranjeevi’s fantasy film Vishwambhara, which has been delayed several times is now expected to release during the Dasara season on October 16th, though the makers have not announced it officially yet.
If that happens, his next film with director Bobby is unlikely to arrive for Sankranthi, as releasing two Chiranjeevi films within a short gap is not a good plan.
On the other hand, Balakrishna’s NBK111 directed by Gopichand Malineni is progressing well and was aiming for a December 4th release.
But Fauji also targeting the same date, NBK111 may shift to Sankranthi 2027. The final release plans should become clear in the coming weeks.
