Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently busy with director Koratala Siva’s Acharya, which shows Chiranjeevi as a man who fights for the people he believes in. The film has been in the making for nearly 2 years now and has been delayed several times due to the coronavirus pandemic.
After wrapping up Acharya, Chiranjeevi will start shooting for the Telugu remake of the Malayalam film Lucifer, which will be directed by Tamil director Mohan Raja. Several directors were considered for the film, but Mohan Raja was finally locked. The script work of the film is currently going on, and actor Satyadev is said to be playing an important role in the film.
According to the latest reports, the title in consideration for the film is “Godfather”. Given that Chiranjeevi will be seen playing the role of a political influencer, and hence, Godfather is said to be considered as the perfect title for the film. Incidentally, Godfather happens to be the title of a superhit Hollywood franchise, starring Robert De Niro, Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, and several other actors. It will be interesting to see how the Godfather title will turn out to be for Chiranjeevi if it is finalised as the film’s name.
