Chiranjeevi’s Daughter’s Film Gets a Release Date

This year during the Sankranthi festival season, young hero Santosh Shobhan’s film, Kalyanam Kamaneeyam had a theatrical release. Co-starring Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead, Kalyanam Kamaneeyam directed by Anil Kumar Aalla failed to impress the audience.

Not disappointed Santosh Shobhan is now coming up with yet another film titled, Sridevi Sobhan Babu. Co-starring young beauty Gouri Kishan of 96′ fame, Sridevi Sobhan Babu is scheduled for a February 18th release as a Maha Shivaratri festival special. An official announcement regarding the same came out on February 5th.

Speaking about the film Santosh Shobhan said”This film pays homage to the small-town feel of films from the ’70s and ’80s. It will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. All of us on this team have come a long way. We plan to arrive on February 18th”.

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s elder daughter Sushmita Konidela is the film’s producer. Her husband Vishnu Prasad is the co-producer. Written and directed by Prasanth Kumar Dimmala, Syed Kamran composed soundtracks for this rural drama.
