Chiranjeevi the director in action?!

Many fans and common audience are eagerly waiting for the 150th film of Megastar Chiranjeevi. He started his career in 1978 with the release of Pranam Khareedu and then went to rewrite the history of Telugu cinema creating records and receiving accolades.

He is known for his stylish action and flawless dances. His dialogue delivery created him a great identity among the masses and even today’s generation likes his perfect comic timing. So him coming back on screen as a lead after 9 years gap needed all special attention it can get and the team of Khaidi No 150 have been trying their hand at it.

VVVinayak has been given the mantle once the producer of the movie Ram Charan decided to go about with AR Murugadoss’s blockbuster film, Kaththi remake. Vinayak previously remade Ramana made by the director, as Tagore. The movie managed to create a sensation and was praised to be better than the original. These days Vinayak has been found wanting with his heavy reliance on comedy to save the day. Even that has backfired for him in films like Akhil and Alludu Seenu.

Even the movie team found him wanting it seems. According to close sources, Chiranjeevi himself had to dawn the director’s hat to shoot several flash back episodes in the film. There is an emotional flashback episode in the film showing the plight of farmers and the scenes directed by Vinayak lacked the finesse it seems. So Chiranjeevi himself had to reshoot them and in the process he also shot the director’s cameo it seems.

Well the close sources are someone to believe and there were several occasions before too that reported similar kind of situations where Chiranjeevi took over the director’s mantle and finished the scene for desired output. With his experience Chiranjeevi handled the scenes brilliantly it seems and the output is said to be worthy of all the effort.
