The pre-release event of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming movie, Godfather, which was held in Ananthapur, on Wednesday night, was a very lively one, with thousands of fans turning up to see Chiranjeevi on the stage. Everyone remained at the event despite heavy rain, and stayed until the end of Chiru’s speech.
Chiru thanked each and every one who has been a part of Godfather, making it the spectacle that it is today. He made special mention to his son Ram Charan, who he said was highly instrumental in him doing Godfather, as Charan felt that it was the right film for Chiru to do at this point in his career. He also mentioned that it was because of Charan that Salman agreed to be a part of the film.
Chiru also spoke highly of Thaman, who, he said, gave his whole for the background score of the music, and elevated every scene to the level where goosebumps are guaranteed. Chiru also said that everyone is going to be taken for a massive ride with the film, and with the performance of every actor, especially that of Satyadev’s, who, he said, excelled at his role, and proved why he is one of the finest actors in the industry today. Chiru also wished all the best to the two other movies releasing on October 5th. The Ghost and Swathimuthyam, and said that he hopes that all three films do well at the box office.
