Mega Star Chiranjeevi has announced on Monday that he has tested COVID positive. He is asymptomatic and has revealed that those who are in contact with him for the previous 4-5 days should undergo the test. This created a bit of panic as he met Nagarjuna, Telangana Chief Minister KCR, and the other officials.
However, Chiranjeevi has revealed that he was not tested COVID positive at all. The result came so as the kit was faulty. He tweeted, “A group of doctors did three different tests and concluded that I am Covid negative & that the earlier result was due to a faulty RT PCR kit. My heartfelt thanks for the concern, love shown by all of you during this time. Humbled!”
With Chiranjeevi not tested COVID positive, he can resume the shoot of Acharya at the earliest possible. Koratala Siva is the director of the movie.
