Chiranjeevi’s mother-in-law, Allu Kanakaratnam passed away today and her last rites were performed with the entire family present.
Later in the evening Chiranjeevi attended an event where he shared a touching memory about her. He said “I was the first to reach Allu Aravind’s residence after hearing the news. Since Aravind was on his way from Bengaluru, I asked if he was willing to donate his mother’s eyes. He immediately agreed”.
Chiranjeevi also recalled a past conversation with his mother-in-law. “Once, I asked her if she was ready to donate her eyes after her death”.
“Without hesitation, she said yes. Remembering that moment, I contacted My Blood Bank today and arranged for the eye donation. The process has been successfully completed”, he added.
This gesture has deeply moved many, showing Allu Kanakaratnam’s noble wish and the family’s commitment to fulfilling it.
