Chiranjeevi Secures Court Order Against Unauthorized Use

The City Civil Court in Hyderabad has granted a temporary injunction in favor of Chiranjeevi protecting his personality and publicity rights.

The court order stops anyone from using his name, voice or other identifiable features without permission.

Chiru approached the court after noticing widespread misuse of his identity through unauthorized memes and AI content.

The court recognized him as one of India’s most iconic actors and said such misuse could harm his reputation and financial interests.

The order specifically bars over 30 defendants, including unnamed parties, from using Chiru’s persona or titles like “Mega Star”, “Chiru” and “Annayya” for commercial or promotional purposes. Violating this order could lead to civil and criminal action.

Meanwhile Chiranjeevi is busy shooting for Anil Ravipudi’s film Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu.
