Chiranjeevi has been honored with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award by the British Government.
He received the award at the UK Parliament in London from ruling Labour Party MPs Navendru Mishra, Sojan Joseph and Bob Blackman. Photos and videos from the event are going viral.
Earlier Chiru got a grand welcome at Heathrow Airport, where Telugu fans gathered to greet him. The award ceremony took place on the evening of March 19th.
There were rumors that Chiranjeevi would receive honorary UK citizenship but his team denied them. Meanwhile, he is almost done filming Vishwambhara, which is set to release this year.
He is also planning exciting new projects and will soon collaborate with young talent. Director Anil Ravipudi is set to direct Chiranjeevi’s next film, which will start shooting in June and is scheduled for a Sankranthi 2026 release.
