The impact of Pawan Kalyan’s speech at Republic’s pre-release event was such that it has caused major turmoil in the political circles of Andhra Pradesh and a state of utter confusion and panic in Tollywood. The speech that Pawan gave, while talking about Tollywood’s ticket pricing issue in Andhra Pradesh, was very politically charged, and there have been mixed reactions to Pawan’s speech from Tollywood circles.
What remained on everyone’s mind though, was why Chiranjeevi hasn’t responded to Pawan’s statements, and why he has chosen to remain silent. It now looks like Chiranjeevi has responded to the speech, finally, according to what AP minister Perni Nani has said. Perni Nani is currently meeting with several producers from Tollywood, to discuss the issue of ticket pricing in the state.
Interacting with the media, Perni Nani said that he has spoken to Chiranjeevi and that Chiranjeevi has said that Tollywood has nothing to do with Pawan’s statements, which are politically inclined and have nothing to do with the film industry. While Perni Nani has said that this is Chiranjeevi’s response, the actor hasn’t responded to the issue in public yet.
