Megastar Chiranjeevi who is riding on high with the success of the Sankranthi release, Waltair Veerayya has resumed shooting for his upcoming film, Bholaa Shankar from Wednesday. Being directed by Meher Ramesh, the film is an official remake of the 2015 Tamil hit, Vedalam.
Being bankrolled by AK Entertainments in association with Creative Commercials banner, Bholaa Shankar has star heroine Keerthy Suresh in Chiranjeevi’s sister role. Tamannaah is locked as the female lead. Mani Sharma’s son Mahathi Swara Sagar is scoring soundtracks for this emotional action drama which is scheduled for April 2023 release.
Meanwhile, the latest reports suggest that Chiranjeevi is keen on collaborating with noted director VV Vinayak for a project. It is widely known that Chiranjeevi and VV Vinayak earlier joined forces for superhits such as Tagore and Khaidi No. 150. If the new project in the above combination materializes, it marks the third time association of the star actor-director duo.
