At a promotional event for the film “P2”, producer K. Rajan made inappropriate remarks about one of the female actors, which drew heavy criticism on social media. Singer and dubbing artist Chinmayi Sripada wrote something on her Twitter account.
K. Rajan, who is also the President of the Film Producers and Distributors Association, is known for making controversial comments about actors.
At the event, he made disrespectful remarks about the female actor, referring to her in a degrading way and saying she should not be “tampered with”.
He claimed he was quoting lyrics from a song written by Snehan, who was laughing on stage with the film’s music director and other crew members. Although the actress appeared to laugh along, she seemed visibly uncomfortable.
