Chinmayi has often faced criticism and attacks from a section of men on X, but things have become much worse in the last few weeks. The harassment has now crossed a line, with some users creating and sharing morphed images of her.
Chinmayi shared one such nude morphed image sent by an abuser and also posted a video. In the video, she explains that certain groups are allegedly paying young men on X to target her and her family.
In her post, she wrote that she had tagged the police after receiving the morphed image. She said taking legal action is not the main point, her aim is to warn young girls and their families about how these abusers operate.
Chinmayi added that she is not affected by this and that her family fully supports her. She urged people to understand how morphed images are being misused in AI and encouraged families to stand by their daughters without fear.
