Ram Charan’s Peddi has created huge excitement with its first glimpse and the first song, Chikiri. Composed by AR Rahman, the song has become a massive chartbuster and is trending heavily on social media, with a record number of reels.
Chikiri has crossed 100 million views in Telugu alone while total views across all languages have gone beyond 150 million. Ram Charan’s stylish dance moves and graceful screen presence have impressed audiences with many fans recreating his steps.
The song’s visuals, shot at cliff tops, along with strong styling, have added to its impact. Director Buchi Babu Sana has written a powerful story that blends emotions, sports, raw moments, and action on a grand scale.
Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru, the film’s shoot is progressing fast in Hyderabad and will soon shift to New Delhi to complete the talkie portions by January end.
Peddi is scheduled for a grand multi-language release on March 27, 2026, with Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead and Shiva Rajkumar in a key role.
