Chennai Love Story Opening Day Collections

Chennai Love Story created strong buzz because of the successful combination of Kiran Abbavaram, producer SKN, and director Sai Rajesh. Mani Sharma’s songs and the trailer further raised expectations.

Though the premiere shows received mixed reviews, the film still opened well at the box office due to its strong pre-release hype.

Chennai Love Story did a worldwide theatrical business of Rs. 15.4 crore and needs Rs. 16 crore share to break even. On Day 1, including premieres, it collected Rs. 4.18 crore share and Rs. 7.98 crore gross worldwide. The film now requires Rs. 11.82 crore share to reach the break-even mark.
