The Bollywood debut film of Tollywood actor Bellamkonda Sreenivas—a Chatrapathi remake—was formally introduced in July 2021. The film was directed by renowned filmmaker VV Vinayak, and it is currently making news once more.
The film’s producers have officially revealed that it will premiere on May 12, 2023, across the globe. In addition to releasing the first look poster, the producers maintained the original title, Chatrapathi.
Sreenivas goes shirtless in this first-look poster, showing off his chiselled physique and appearing like a beast. With a copper bowl in one hand and wounds on his back, he is seen standing in the river. His arm and neck are adorned with holy threads. The aggressive nature of Sreenivas’ character is indicated by the posture and the furious clouds.
Sahil Vaid, Amit Nair, Rajendra Gupta, Shivam Patil, Swapnil, Ashish Singh, Mohammad Monajir, Auroshika Dey, Vedika, Jason, and other notable actors also had significant roles in this film. The female lead is Nushrratt Bharuccha. The film’s post-production work is now in progress after the completion of the production process.
The original script for this adaptation was written by KV Vijayendra Prasad, the father of Rajamouli. The project is being produced by Dr. Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios, and it will be distributed internationally by Dhaval and Akshay Jayantilal Gada of Pen Marudhar Cine Entertainment. Without sacrificing any of their budget, they produced the movie on a grand scale. The movie’s music was composed by Tanishk Bagchi.
