Change of plans for NTR30?

Given that NTR is a part of director SS Rajamouli’s RRR, the plan was that NTR’s follow-up film would be made on a pan-Indian scale. While director Trivikram Srinivas was on board to direct NTR in his 30th film, the plans changed, and Koratala Siva was brought on board later.

In the lead up to RRR’s release, Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt even revealed that she was indeed approached to play the leading lady in NTR-Koratala’s film, and the actor’s fans rejoiced. However, after the release of RRR, and with some recent developments, it looks as though there might be some change of plans for NTR30, with a pan-Indian scale being out of the picture as well.

In a recent interview, while NTR did mention that the shooting for his film with Koratala would begin in June, he didn’t mention whether or not it would be made on a pan-Indian scale. The main reason for NTR30 to not be a pan-Indian film is being stated as NTR’s role from RRR. NTR did get national recognition with the film, but most of the accolades have been directed towards Ram Charan for his performance. Hence, it is now to be seen whether or not NTR30 will continue to remain a pan-Indian film or not.
