P Vasu and Raghava Lawrence’s much-anticipated horror film, “Chandramukhi 2,” is set to grace screens this September as a special Vinayaka Chavithi treat. The sequel to the highly successful Tamil horror-comedy, “Chandramukhi,” has been generating significant buzz in trade circles, evident by its remarkable pre-release business. The film appears to maintain the sentiment of its predecessor, employing a similar strategy for promotional content.
Drawing parallels with the first installment, where the Telugu version featured the Tamil song “Vaarai” and vice versa, the sequel is following suit, now with a larger impact as three Telugu songs find their place in the Tamil version and three Tamil songs in the Telugu version. This consistent approach reinforces the seamless continuation from the original.
Scheduled for release on Vinayaka Chavithi, “Chandramukhi 2” will hit screens in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. Directed by P Vasu, the film stars Raghava Lawrence reprising Rajinikanth’s role, and Kangana Ranaut stepping into Jyotika’s shoes. The ensemble cast also includes Vadivelu, Mahima Nambiar, Lakshmi Menon, Srushti Dange, and many more.
With the blend of horror and comedy, “Chandramukhi 2” promises to captivate audiences across languages, delivering a fitting sequel to its predecessor’s success. As the film’s release draws near, fans are eagerly awaiting the next chapter in this entertaining cinematic journey.
