Swapna Cinemas in collaboration with Anandi Art Creations and Concept Films is creating strong buzz for their upcoming film Champion, a period drama with sport, romance and action.
Roshan plays the lead role while Anaswara Rajan is the heroine. The film is directed by National Award winner Pradeep Advaitham, with Zee Studios presenting it.
The makers recently released a colourful glimpse introducing Anaswara’s character, Chandrakala, as a promo for the first song Gira Gira Gingiraagirey.
The video shows Chandrakala as a bold and cheerful village girl with dreams bigger than her environment. She hopes to become a drama artist and one day start her own troupe.
Anaswara’s energetic performance makes the character look very lively and important to the story’s emotional and cultural feel. The promo also gives a small hint of the romantic track between the lead pair showing a sweet chemistry. The full song will be released on the 25th of this month.
