Chandoo Mondeti Plans A Big Historical Film

After scoring back-to-back hits with Karthikeya 2 and Thandel director Chandoo Mondeti is now planning a much bigger film with a historical backdrop.

This ambitious project is creating buzz as Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions is likely to produce it.

Rana Daggubati is expected to play the lead role while Akshay Kumar is said to be in talks for an important character.

There are also heavy discussions about a third hero joining the cast. The story is reportedly set in Ujjain and will blend history, mythology and suspense elements without fail.

The film is planned on a grand scale with a Pan-India release. Though there is no official confirmation yet and the project has already generated strong excitement in the industry.
