Rana Daggubati found a highly unconventional debut film with Leader. The film worked on him well and it is still remembered for the straight forward approach of the maker Shekar Kammula. After few commercial films, Rana too has become more self aware of his abilities and decided to take the unconventional route more often.
Now, after Ghazi and Nene Raju Nene Mantri, he is acting in Hindi and Tamil films, simultaneously and a new Telugu film is also in the offing. Several news reports suggest that the actor has been offered another chance to be Leader by the original maker, Shekar Kammula. The director who came back into reckoning with Fidaa, decided to take unique route from all others and wanted to continue his story about Leader.
Rana got excited about the subject and he asked for a full script before starting the project. Shekar Kammula at present is busy writing the script and once, he is satisfied then he will give a narration to Rana and then they will decide on the budget and the producer.
