Chalo Chalo from Virata Parvam: A revolutionary ode

Rana Daggubati’s Virata Parvam, the release of which was postponed for quite some time now, is all set to be released on June 17th in theatres. The film is directed by Venu Udugula and is inspired by real-life events that took place in the 1990s, in Telangana. The film features Sai Pallavi as the leading lady, while Priyamani and Naveen Chandra are set to be seen in key roles.

The song Chalo Chalo from the movie has been released today, which shows us some montages from the movie, giving us a glimpse into why Rana’s character, Ravanna, chose to be a Naxalite, and Sai Pallavi’s character, reading Ravanna’s revolutionary words in a book. Virata Parvam has a love story at its core, of how a girl is influenced by the words of a revolutionary and sets out on a journey to find him. The story is all about what hardships they two face, and will they get a happily every after.
