Challenging role offered for Kriti Shetty?

Apart from Republic, an intense political drama under the direction of Deva Katta, mega hero Sai Dharam Tej committed to yet another film under the direction of debutant Karthik Dandu.

Touted a period drama, this as-yet-untitled film went on the floors earlier this year and wrapped up twenty percent of its shooting. Now, the latest buzz circulating among media circles is that the makers have approached Uppena fame, Kriti Shetty, for the female lead role. News is also that the female lead in the film will be showcased in a de-glamorous role. If the news is to be believed, will Kriti accepts the challenging role or else rejects it? Remains to be seen.

Being bankrolled by Sukumar and BVSN Prasad, the film is said to be a thriller set in the 70s time period and features black magic as its backdrop.
