Nagarjuna Akkineni had glorious hits in his career but his most massy hit film was Allari Alludu. In the movie with godavari accent and as a son-in-law who stops at nothing to let his mother-in-law learn a lesson, Nagarjuna excelled to the tee and the movie became a blockbuster at box office. After the movie, Nag playing the comic hero character became a trend. He continued it in his movies like Hello Brother and Gharana Bullodu.
Now the same title is being under consideration and almost certain for his elder son Naga Chaitanya’s movie with Kalyan Krishna. The movie was designed in Ninne Pelladutha style with Allari Alludu flavour of comedy it seems. The film is being produced by Annapurna Studios with Nagarjuna as producer and in the movie, Chaitanya will be a software engineer it seems. Interestingly, the name of the director and Nag’s character in the movie is also same.
More than 70% of the shooting has been finished and as we speak the scenes with Rakul Preet Singh and Chalapathi Rao are being canned at Manam house in Annapurna Studios. The film is looking for a possible May release and it is expected to be a game changer for Chaitanya. A few scenes have been asked to reshoot by Nagarjuna after watching the rushes it seems. Rakul Preet is shuffling between Mahesh23 and this film. Soon the song shooting for the movie will begin in Abroad as per a reliable source.
